I’ve just discovered, thanks to my good friend Roy, G4WTV, that there is AM activity on 10 metres.
From what I’ve read, it seems that 29.000MHz is accepted as the world-wide AM calling frequency.
ARRL suggests AM operation be conducted from 29.000 to 29.200MHz.
RSGB: AM operation can be found in the 29.0-29.1MHz range.
Be aware that 29.300 to 29.510 is designated for amateur satellite use so avoid simplex in this area.
Bearing in mind that this year, 2025, is the sunspot maximum, it might be worth monitoring 29MHz AM.
