The Bush DAC90 vintage radio was first manufactured in 1946. Using octal valves, it employed an internal loop aerial and covered the long and medium wave bands. The Bakelite cabinet was stylish and the radio worked well on its own aerial. The radio was also available in an ivory coloured cabinet which was ideal for a bedside table, perhaps next to an ivory extension telephone.
